Longcane first started the business in 1989 as a trading enterprise distributing various types of latex & rubber gloves, condoms and finger cots.
Having accumulated a vast experience in the industry, the Company was incorporated in 1995 under the name of Longcane Industries Sdn. Bhd. To adopt modern and systematic management and production systems. Longcane Industries has since then venture into manufacturing its own industrial and household rubber gloves. We have invested heavily in high tech machineries and staff training to equip itself to be an international renowned producer of rubber products. Our products are of high quality and today they are being exported to Taiwan, Canada, South Africa, Korea, Mauritius, USA, Greece, Italy, Hong Kong, Italy and many others.
We are planning to produce specialized gloves for handling animals and pets. Gloves useful for farmer and vetenerians who need especially longer gloves to cover and protect their hands. Other Longcane's plans in the near future includes manufacturing medical and surgical gloves that are highly demanded. Added feature gloves are also in our future product pipeline. Added feature such as sponge glued to gloves which is useful for washing plates.
Today, Longcane's network has expanded even to China and Indonesia. Our network specializes in reproducing scrap (rejected) gloves into other useful rubber product which helps to reduce wastage costs. Whereas in Indonesia, it manufactures through an OEM provider which makes it more cost effective and hence more competitve in the pricing of lower-end gloves.
